Across the country we all share a common concern over a major global problem.  The problem is garbage… also referred to as Municipal Solid Waste, or MSW.  It is estimated that each and every one of us generates 1 ton of garbage annually.  Last year, the US had a net increase of 12 million tons, after all of our work… with over 130 million tons of raw MSW being buried in landfills across our great nation.  

Visiam has developed a solution to this on-going crisis.  The Visiam solution is to divert the MSW headed to landfills and instead process it at a thermal vessel / digestion based renewable energy plant that will convert the MSW into electricity for the community.  

Visiam's waste-to-energy process not only greatly reduces the burden on landfills, and therefore reduces GHG emissions, but does so with no carbon footprint.  Furthermore, for every ton of processed waste to energy, one barrel of oil can be saved… resulting in a reduction of our nation's oil consumption by just processing trash.  

Regardless of size, each community has a responsibility to recognize their contribution to this immense problem, and to choose the most effective, affordable, and environmentally responsible solution.   Visiam's energy plants are all three – effective, affordable, and environmentally safe.
